Adana Cinema Museum was created thanks to the initiative of the municipality of Adana in 2011. It is dedicated primarily to the cinema of Turkey, as well as famous actors, directors and producers, originally from Adana. In the halls of the museum you can see interesting exhibits related to the history of cinema, with cinema props, posters, a library and an archive room.

History of Adana Cinema Museum
Adana Cinema Museum first opened its doors for movie lovers on September 23, 2011. It is located almost in the center of the city of Adana in a renovated old house. The museum occupies two floors, each of which has something to see.
The Adana Cinema Museum fully reflects the history of Turkish cinema in all its aspects. Posters, books, photographs, props, documents and many other things related to the production and screening of films are displayed here. In addition, a remarkable feature of the museum is that almost all the exhibits are somehow connected with famous personalities in cinema, who were born and raised in Adana. On the second floor of the museum there is a public library and film library. Here anyone can watch any Turkish film. In addition, there are regularly held public shows of old films right in the museum building.
The work of the museum is also educational in nature. All students, journalists and academics can use the archives of the museum for their research.
Entrance to the museum is free. The museum is open from 9 am to 6 pm on weekdays and from 10 am to 5 pm on weekends.
How to get to Adana Cinema Museum?
Adana has its own airport Sakirpasa, located on the outskirts of the city. The airport serves only domestic flights from Ankara, Antalya, Istanbul, Izmir and Bodrum. In addition, you can also get to Adan by intercity bus from the bus station of any Turkish city.
