The center (aka the zoo) was opened in 1994. Here you can see wildlife, mammals and reptiles on the African continent in a natural habitat.

This is one of the main attractions not only of Entebbe, but of the whole country. It is Africa’s largest freshwater lake and the second largest lake in the world. Tourists and locals love to relax on local beaches, go fishing or go on a boat tour. Here, right next to the lake, on the island of Ngamba there is a Chimpanzee Reserve, which you can also visit.
