Lankaran is rightfully considered one of the pearls of Azerbaijan and one of the most beautiful cities in the country. The first settlements on the site of the modern city arose in the Bronze Age. Add to this the influence of different cultures due to the fact that the city was at the crossroads of important trade routes from Europe to Asia, and you can see how diverse and beautiful this city is.

In addition to its historical significance, the city is also ideal for beach and wellness holidays. In the immediate vicinity of the city there are thermal springs, the water from there is used for medicinal and general health purposes.
