The Museum of the Medicine History is located in the Turkish city of Manisa. It is one of the most important architectural sites that are identified with the historical identity of the city. Earlier, a mosque (Mesir Cami) was located in the museum building.

Entrance to the Museum of the Medicine History of the city of Manisa is free, so everyone can look at the exhibits. The museum was built by order of Sultan Suleiman the Magnificent for his mother. Later it was burned during the Greek occupation of 1922 and fully restored in 1962-1963.

History of Museum of the Medicine History

The first architect of the future museum was Asem Ali. However, unfortunately, he died before the construction was completed. The museum building was destroyed during the Greek occupation of Manisa. Only a few years later, in 1962, restoration work began with the financial support of the University of Celal Bayar. In 1996, the Museum of the Medicine History opened its doors to visitors.
