Alberobello is a small Italian town, which is located far from popular tourist routes. However, despite this, the city retains an amazing heritage of Italian architecture – snow-white houses with conical roofs “Trulli”, which you must visit if you have holiday in Italy. The easiest and fastest way to get to Alberobello is by plane. The nearest airport located in city of Bari. It serves both local and international flights. From Bari Airport, you can get to Alberobello in three ways:
By train. A train leaves from Bari Train Station every hour; the travel time is about 1.5 hours. You can buy tickets at the box office at the station or at special terminals. The cost is about 6 Euro.
By bus. This is another budget, but very inconvenient way. The fact is that the bus leaves for Alberobello only once a day.
Taxi or transfer. This is one of the most comfortable ways, but also the most expensive. Travel time will take about an hour, and the cost of such a trip can be from 50 to 150 Euros. This option can be beneficial if you are traveling in a group and can share the costs between members.
Sights of Alberobello
The main, but not the only attraction of the city of Alberobello are the houses of Trulli.
