How to get to Geneva, Switzerland
The easiest and fastest way to get to Geneva is by plane. Geneva International Airport serves most European airlines, including low-cost airlines. If suddenly you did not find a direct flight, then go with transfers. It will take a little longer, but you can visit other cities along the way.
The distance from the airport to the city is only 4 km. You can get to the center:
- By high-speed train. Travel time is about 6 minutes.
- By bus. Travel time will be about 10-15 minutes.
- By taxi. This is the most expensive option, and not always the fastest. Travel time depends on traffic and time of day.
Important! If you use public transport (train or bus), then you can travel for free. To do this, you need to print a ticket using a ticket machine located in the baggage claim area. It is valid for 80 minutes only with a boarding pass (plane ticket).

Geneva, one of the most populous cities in Switzerland, annually attracts many tourists from around the world. You can get inside as part of an organized tourist group only. Tour can be bought at tour agencies and some hotels in the city.
